Well on the reddit sub it seems a constant topic of discussion. There's loads of that skinhead stuff. It's OK. I enjoy a bit of it. I prefer the more well known stuff. I only care about how it sounds tbh.

My favourites are still NMTB and London Calling. I like the Ramones a lot too. They seem better and more aggressive live though.

Absolutely, the Ramones live in the 70s were so dope, and there's a lot of good footage of them too. I don't think anyone else was playing that fast and energetic in the mid 70s.

you can still ask why it exists, regardless of how much there is. It's a somewhat valid question because right-wing politics clash with what punk stands for, but qualms like that have never stopped people before in developing a worldview, so ultimately it is a silly question to dwell on

I just love it when a simple misspelling changes the entire meaning of a word!

Reminds me of a similar error, when an etiquette book advised people "It is considered impolite to tear pieces of one's beard off and put them in one's soup." Well, yeah, I imagine it would be painful too!

Damn, that's kinda nuts. Depending on the subreddit, mods can be really obnoxious and biased on there but a sitewide ban for a comment like that is bullshit. I'm thinking it might be some disgruntled far righters mass reporting your post and the moderation might not have even been human, but I'm not sure how Reddit handles stuff like that.

If there's any way to appeal the ban I would try that, because that is ridiculous.

reddit is a public company now too, their mods get paid so maybe the word nazi was just AI filtered and not even a human read it. idk
