I bought 3 pairs of black socks in an impulse aisle last week.

They felt soft.

So I have a situation where now these are both the best and worst socks I've ever owned.

The softness and quality are unmatched, unfortunately so is the amount of black fluff all over my house now from my feet.

I only own black socks. That way, the trouble of matching socks is kept at a minimum.

I ordered an Arturia Microfreak synth yesterday:

Our piano has a midi out, so this'll let me get more fun out of it 🙂 really looking forward to its arrival!

Nice! I've never used one of those, but the touchplate keys seem like a bit of a hurdle, so controlling it over MIDI seems ideal for sure.

"stressed" is just "desserts" spelled backwards

Yes, I was actually looking for something even smaller and without a keyboard, but this looked really cool for its relatively small price tag and people seem to love it 🙂

Put this on your banner. I read this and thought it reminded me of the old days.

Question: why do some men (quite a few) insist on making stupid caveman noises when they shower? Instead of just washing themselves in peace they'll go 'HRNNG! UH! PRRAH!'. I've never heard a woman do this. Do they think it's manly? Is it a primitive urge to manifest their presence? Is it sexual or supposed to be sexy? It only sounds ridiculous and a bit repulsive and you'd think their mum/wife/someone should have told them

Lol.
Not sure I ever did or heard this.
I sometimes quietly moan or sigh to myself a bit when a shower after a long day is especially pleasant, as do some women I know, but don't think it's what you describe.
Where did you encounter this? Maybe they are taking cold showers?

.

In public bathrooms on campsites or with some male housemates, maybe it's a cold shower thing but I don't think that many people do that?

I have never heard of this  :laughing:
I am mainly laughing out loud at my thoughts in the shower;
I treat my showers as thinking sessions;
