Ah yeah, Rotasi was definitely a posting encyclopedia of music knowledge and experience; I remember him always talking very casually about how he was friends with all these famous avant garde musicians. Seemed cool.

Rostasi had that impression on me too. It was like he was regularly bumping into John Zorns, Nick Caves or RIO musicians who would send their regards to forums such as MB. I was thinking, this is my kind of place

^ Thanks for reminding us of rostasi: he was a really great, well-connected guy. He operated an obscure-music radio show, and I remember a video clip he posted once: a small audience listening to some abstract ambient piece, with a Q&A with the artist afterwards. First to stand up: yer man, rostasi !
