As a New Hampshirite, I disavow and totally admonish her. Disgusting!

I usually make curries with either coconut milk or yoghurt but I used cream today because I thought I should listen to a recipe that told me so. The supermarket only had double cream and I went oh well double cream it is. So now I have this curry which is heavy as a brick and not flavourful enough (which is also because the cooking was rushed to be fair), I should have listened to my intuition and just used yoghurt. I think some curry houses use cream too but they know all their magic curry tricks to make it work I suppose

Recently I heard about Runsa sandwiches which are apparently the big food in Nebraska and have been for decades.  They are very similar to hot pockets, but picture how good a hot pocket would be if a grandmother made it.  I found out there's a whole fast food chain of Runza outlets.  Like 90 of them in Nebraska and a few in other states.  I went and got some.  There's nothing grotesque about them or anything but I would definitely never buy them again.  Dull dull desperately dull.

I've never had this, but was wondering if I could perhaps make this today as a starter 🙂

@Marie Monday Is there an online recipe that you think is good?

Thanks! This may be a dumb question, but what sort of oil do you use?

I use sunflower oil. Just whatever you normally fry shit in.

It has to be GRAM FLOUR though not plain flour.

^^ what jimmy said, I used his recipe. the type of oil doesn't really matter, I use olive, but I second using gram flour specifically. You can also spice them according to taste and the amount of flour and water is a trial-and-error process (I would start a bit sparingly and then add more if needed). You fry them until they're nice and crispy

Thanks guys 🙂 We ended up doing sushi bowls instead because we recently bought kilos of sushi quality salmon and it's so easy.. but I definitely wanna try this soon!

Do this every few weeks for me and Daddy Jazz. He's a big fan.

Make your soffrito:

Fry on low heat for a while with olive oil and butter. Add your mince (I use 50/50 pork and beef) and brown:

Add beef stock and tomato puree. Then add red wine and cook until the alcohol has cooked away:

Can slow cook this in a slow cooker or on the hob. Then add a bit of whole milk and let it cook for half an hour longer.

Cook your pasta (I used fresh tagliatelle):

Eat it:
