^ This was the first or second single I ever bought.

What you desire is of lesser value than what you have found.

Doug Ingle, Iron Butterfly founder who sang 'In-a-Gadda-Da-Vida,' dies at 78

Ingle was the last surviving member of the original lineup, which was formed in San Diego in 1966.

(I'm like this all the time.)

Two days ago I found out that my favorite tattoo artist passed away two months ago. Cause of death unknown but it's sad. I went into the shop to schedule an appointment with him over a design I kept putting off and found out the news.

Now I don't even want to get the tattoo done that we discussed. It seems like it would be bad juju to have someone else do the design that he drew up.

I was this cool the whole time.

You know, it's a month late but damn! So sorry to see Bernard Hill go, at a relatively early age considering. I'll always remember him from The Boys from the Blackstuff, giving us our catchphrase for the 1980s, "Gizza job!" RIP

I was this cool the whole time.
