9/11 was an outside job.

What ya' talkin' about? Always thought it was an inside job, at least that's what the post-reactionary news media of the neo-media reporting time encouraged me to think around 2005-2006.

I went up the South Tower to the viewing deck in '89. Ashes to ashes. Jesus Christ.

A couple years ago, Hulu released a 9/11 documentary called "One Day In America". 6 episodes if memory serves, including some previously (at that point) unseen footage of the event. Some seriously moving shit. As a younger millennial, my entire life has been in the shadow of 9/11. I cant imagine the horror of the people trapped in the towers.

As a New Englander, I've been around the same area that Mohamed Atta kicked around in before he took off from Portland, Maine to Boston. It was actually quite intelligent and devious. The idea was that security was more lax in Portland, so if you got on a flight from Portland and have a layover in Boston to the final destination of NY, you've already gone thru the more lax security of Portland, so you can avoid the stricter security requirements of Boston.

I think they knew it was going to happen and let it happen but I don't think the US Gov it's self orchestrated it.

But that pilot episode of The Lone Gunmen was really suspicious for something made 6 months before 9/11.

What's the most compelling evidence you've seen for that? Honestly curious.

If the Gov't did know and let it happen, then an outside job does, in a sense, become something of an inside job. Or an outside/inside job. Or a conspiracy.

I hear what you're saying, but Lucem's 'outside job' argument is looking quite convincing.

It is gonna take quite a strong rebuttal to convince everyone of an 'inside job'.

For instance we haven't covered the melting temperature of steel or how any pilot could possibly fly a plane into those buildings, simulator or otherwise (impossible?)

The amount of reports the US government had warning that Al-Qaeda was planning a terrorist attack involving a plane hijacking going back to 1998.

Just read this.

QuoteIn the pilot episode, which aired March 4, 2001 (six months prior to the September 11 attacks),[5] rogue members of the U.S. government remotely hijack an airliner flying to Boston, planning to crash it into the World Trade Center, and let anti-American terrorist groups take credit in order to gain public support for a new, profitable, anti-terrorist war following the Cold War.

Jet melt can't steel fuel beams.

That's what I thought, but then the clowns started pushing the pancake theory, so I thought OK lets pause.

It was crazier for me watching it blind.

Don't make me go into how Larry Silverstein had to miss his dentist appointment to let those towers fall. Don't make me do it!

Okay, but is there anything more concrete? I.e. actual intelligence of the plans at that time/for that time that went ignored? I feel like I've heard that there was before, but there's so much conspiracy bullshit about 9/11 I don't remember what's true and what isn't.
