I've been thinking of a possible solution to avoid starting genre battles with little to no community interest, so here's what I've come up with:
Instead of progressing through all of the scheduled genres in order, I'm instead going to put the next three scheduled genres to a vote between each new battle and the most popular one will be up next. I think this works a little better than selecting the genre options at random because we're still basing it off the schedule, which ensures that there is always some overlap there between each time we vote on it. If then after multiple votes containing the same genre battle, that genre never gets picked, it may be moved into the "Canceled battles" section to make room for other genres, although it may be still be revived at the participants' request.

If this sounds okay to you, here's our choices for what battle to do next once Crossover Thrash is concluded:

1. Ska Punk

1. Choking Victim - No Gods, No Managers
2. Bomb the Music Industry! - Album Minus Band
