Classic noir/crime thriller filmed on location in NYC. The story is centered on a group of homicide detectives while they work on solving the  murder of a young woman in the city. One of the top-tier films of the genre, this film gave birth to a TV show in the late 50's and early 60's which used the same title and was also shot on location in NYC and centered around a group of detectives in the city.

I'm trying to watch more movies with my husband and tonight it was his pick, because he didn't want to think on a Friday night after a tough work week. Well it wasn't great. You already know how it ends before you even start because it's based on a true story ...and my husband told me. He's into tennis and shit. It's full of really cheesy scenes and lines and bad 70s hair. No bueno. Couldn't even say I liked it by giving it a 3.0

Emma Stone makes out with another woman a few times, I still couldn't give it a 3. It was like watching someone kiss your sister, but husband enjoyed it and gave it 3 stars. (shrug)

I loved JoJo Rabbit 🙂 Been wanting to watch it again lately.

Also Waititi's Hunt of the Wilderpeople is on Netflix here which is another good one of his.
