Without more context, this being a thing for aquariums or museums doesn't make much sense. But it does make sense for a place like Machu Picchu, where they want to protect a historical site - and then there's things like foreign visits to North Korea where they want to protect the image of their Potemkin country. I agree with you though, most of the time, I prefer no guide and going at my own pace.

We took a guided tour of a lightship yesterday and our tour guide had horrible B.O.. It was rough.

Had to google what that is and tbh I wonder why anyone would be particularly interested in it at all let alone participate in a tour there. Anyway, condolences on the BO ordeal.

It's a historical ship that you can visit with your ticket to the NYC Seaport Museum. When it was active in the early 20th century a crew of 14 people lived in it year round, so in a way I guess the B.O. probably made it a more authentic experience.

Image sharing on this site sucks.

I wanted to share a tweet that said

"White girls pretend to be liberal and then date boys who they KNOW go against everything they claim to believe in. This why I don't take them seriously lmao"


With a follow up that said

"Boyfriends saying every slur in the book and they be like 'we don't really talk about politics 😍'"

Part of my on going rant towards liberal white girls.

No, I tried to share an image. I posted it on Facebook first to get a url and it didn't work. Then image BB wouldn't load for some reason.

Oh well damn, I dunno what to tell you (maybe Facebook blocks the ability to directly share hosted images?). Wait...you still use Facebook?  :laughing:

If Guy adds the ability to embed tweets, I'm still calling this a win.  ;D
