Guess I'll leave one final hint, and then if nobody has gotten it by tomorrow I'll give away the answer so somebody else can have a go again:

The name of the band consists of two words, with altogether three syllables. No "the" or any similar articles anywhere. The riddle has nothing to do with the semantic meaning of the band's name; think of it instead more in the direction of a rebus puzzle.

Wow, I would have never guessed that. Probably because I never new "Vuh" was pronounced like that even though I love that band.  :laughing:

I think you have to accept that though it may be, as you say, guessable, nobody here can guess it. So maybe give us the answer and we move on?

I've been wracking my brain on this for a couple hours and I can't think of any band that fits that's well known enough. Closest I found was a house group called Dirty Sole, but I can't imagine that's correct.

no need to accept anything. None of the guesses above are correct but I'll give a hint: the inedible seafood in question is expensive and spreadable. The band is very famous, but I do not like their music
