Everything i heard about Astrobot was positive. Everything i saw about Astrobot was positive. Awesome to hear it's living up to expectations

When the original "Astro's Playroom" came out as a tech demo for PS5, everyone, including myself was saying they should make a full fledged game of it. When they actually did it, I was of course skeptical if they'd be able to pull it off - but they did, with flying colors. I play it with my wife, and both of us of course grew up with the N64 and the likes of Mario 64, DK64, and Banjo Kazooie, so this game really takes us back. It's a special game for sure. Mario Galaxy was obviously a big influence on Astro Bot.

I've been heavily contemplating doing a run of Banjo Kazooie / Tooie since they're on Game Pass just for nostalgia sake. Banjo Tooie of course being my favorite of the two. I have nothing but fond memories playing them.

I can't quite remember who made the intro theme for Pinball Fantasies.. some Scandinavian composer, if I remember correctly. I loved it, though.. and played that game so much!

Aw ye.

Pinball Fantasies / Pinball Dreams were elite at the time (thanks to my A1200).  :)

Rainbow Islands (Bubble Bobble 2) was a great game and if you played it enough its simply impossible to forget the tune.

Probably wont go down as the hardest ever arcade game once you realise what the general concepts are (and how to collect end of level diamonds to access the 3 extra secret worlds), but it was easily the most fun game and possibly the game I spent the most money on.

I remember it well, @Meatwad 🙂

We also played the third one which was called Parasol Stars.
