Overheard my new neighbor on the phone say "I havent taken a shower in two weeks"

wow I mean it is getting to Winter time so you can go a few days but weeks? No thanks. Also if they aren't going outside or around people that it's kind of okay-ish but woof.

I was this cool the whole time.

Not sure if this has already been chatted about, but I saw a tiktok on putting toothpaste on your floss- GAME CHANGER!!! My teeth feel like clean, pampered, swaddled little babies. NOT the same as using mint-flavoured floss. 10/10 would recommend.

Wow, what a great dental hygiene tip 😮 Gonna try it!

I was just going to mentioned the mint flavored ones as I was reading.

I don't like using the regular floss. I have those floss picks that I use.

I was this cool the whole time.

I use brush-type interdental floss sticks, because string floss hurts my teeth.  Still, a very good idea to add a bit of toothpaste to the bristle brush - thanks for the tip @flytrap!

Btw, I haven't had sufficient time to sit back and do the foot mask - but I have this in reserve.   :)   Maybe after the holiday I'll be able to indulge.
@DJChameleon, I've been using the O'Keefe's and it's very effective on the calluses!  A little goes a long way, so the 3.2 oz jar will probably last forever lol.

That's brilliant, thanks for the tip! I also use those picks rather than string floss and I think it would be easy as pie to just dip the pick into my glob of toothpaste before I brush.

@Mrs. Waffles, do you use just the regular picks or the type with the bristles at the end?  My teeth have always been sensitive, so the sticks hurt - and I actually can't get them to fit between my teeth.   ???

(First World problems.  :coldsweat: )

I use the ones that look like this, just a string of floss on a plastic holder. I get them in bulk at the grocery store.

^ I used to use those, but the floss would get stuck between my teeth - literally to the point where it couldn't be dislodged (and the stick would be left hanging).  The only place I could floss with string was in between my front teeth, because I have a gap there.  ???   That's why I use the flexible bristle picks.

Does anyone use mouthwash?  I use the Listerine Cool Mint blue one, which feels milder than other mouthwashes.

PS:  And for toothpaste, I've been using Colgate Max Fresh Whitening - which is surprisingly good, I find - except that it the paste really clings to the sink and it's hard to clean out.

Oh, that's awful, sorry you had to go through that. They've worked fine for me, but my teeth are not super tightly close together, years of drug abuse saw to that. I've been trying my best to mitigate the effects that drugs and negligence had on my dental health, my teeth are healthy all things considered but I'm still dealing with the lasting damage of my poor habits from that time.

Sorry YOU had to go through that, and you have my total respect for triumphing over addiction and fighting hard for the better life you deserve.  I would not be surprised if you were self-medicating against emotional pain to a degree. <3

My teeth are way too tight   except for the two front ones that have decided to relax and spread.  :coldsweat:

Thank you so much, I really appreciate your kindness.

You're not wrong, I got into drugs in an era when I thought I was coming out of my deep early 20s depression and living it up, but those nights of amphetamine-fueled clubbing were just as lonely and unfulfilling. I became consumed by overindulgence and fleeting fake happiness, at the expense of actual meaning in my life.

It's been a long and heavy road. Thank you again, I really treasure your friendship. <3

Thanks so much, Mrs. Waffles - your friendship means a lot to me too. ❤️

I am *radiating* to you at this very moment.

I would love to try that foot mask you bought and yeah O Keefe's is mint. Love that company.

I use this listerine that is good for gum health because during my most recent dental cleanings I found out my gums were a bit on the unhealthy side and becoming super sensitive. So I know use gum related products. I also use sensodyne toothpaste to help get my gums to become healthy again. I had a cleaning like two days ago and I got compliments about how they are improving and my mouth wasn't as much of a bloody mess as it used to be after cleanings.

I was this cool the whole time.
