The House voted today to overturn California's ban on the sale of new ICE cars in 2034. This will affect 12 to 14 other states mostly on the east coast that have opted to follow California's lead rather than the Federal government on certain environmental matters. The Trump admin has been keen to allow the states to follow their own conscience on abortion and education matters, but the environment is apparently a bridge too far. Even worse environmental legislation coming out of the Texas legislature.
