~I'm so hipster and edgy that I hate everything that is popular and if I saw something popular by accident I would poke my eyes out.~  ::)

I saw 11 of them and they were pleasing to various degrees.

I was this cool the whole time.

I'm much too old to be hipster or edgy. Popular culture has always and still does generally leave me blank.

Saw this trailer the other day, looks very much up my alley.

"stressed" is just "desserts" spelled backwards

Aw this trailer gives so much away.

The first teaser trailer was much better. It left you under the impression that they were a legit couple going through some DV abuse.

I was this cool the whole time.

I haven't seen any of those either. Some I plan on getting to. Deadpool & Venom will be some good slop. IDK about A Quiet Place, but I expect Alien to be pretty good.

From Semafor, no direct link. I've read elsewhere that it is very pro-Israel, and that at 215 minutes it doesn't feel overly long.

QuoteA new film is resurfacing a debate over the controversial "brutalist" style of architecture. The Brutalist, starring Adrien Brody as an architect, is an Oscars frontrunner after a Golden Globes win. Brutalism involves "extensive use of concrete" and stark, hard-edged forms, Artnews reported, and is divisive: Incoming US President Donald Trump banned its use in federal buildings during his first term, although Joe Biden overturned the order. Brutalism is low-cost, and architects like that it reveals buildings' true materials and nature, rather than hiding them. But it is usually unpopular with the public. One resident described the FBI's brutalist Washington, DC headquarters as "a prison with windows, just a concrete slab stuck in the middle of the city."

Gaming is not my thing, but this doc is getting good reviews. GuyBrush may know more...

Yes, I have seen it.

It is good, both heart warming and sad. But only watch it if you can tolerate awkward teenage romance as it plays out in World of Warcraft 😅

They re-enact scenes with World of Warcraft avatars.
