The big benefit to electric skillets is providing a consistent and even heat, which you don't really get with a regular skillet on a stovetop. Most of them are also larger than your standard skillets which allows you to cook more food in them (which also means you could could more easily cook a double or triple batch and have leftovers for the week).

My interest is definitely piqued! The stovetop burners in our new apartment seem to have pretty uneven heating compared to the stove in our old place. I don't know if it's worth a shot to call maintenance about the stove since the unit is technically fully functional. I can deal with it generally but it's been a bit obnoxious when making stuff like pancakes and breakfast meats. I wonder if I should look into something like what you described.

If you want even heat, and a large amount of space to cook a meal for you and Aaron, an electric skillet might be a great buy! They're really affordable too - this one for example on Amazon is just a little north of $30 and looks similar to the one I have.

It was both if I recall correctly. Some studio is currently in the middle of creating a documentary about him. I hope to tell my grandkids someday: "The Andy Reid/Patrick Mahomes Chiefs were so good, that there were people robbing banks to have the money to keep seeing them play in person"
