I'd prefer post punk as I've heard all but 2 of those albums and for jam rock i've heard literally zero.

Nice list! Those are all iconic fusion albums, but I get why you'd trim them "Heavy Weather" is essential but maybe overplayed, "Devotion" is raw but less polished, Elegant Gypsy" flashy but niche, and "Third" is brilliant but an acquired taste. Curious to see your final R&B/Soul picks!
