Small Faces - Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake
The Action - Rolled Gold

Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake or more to the point just, well er... Gone.

Round 5

1. The Who - The Who Sell Out
2. The Kinks - Face to Face
3. The Jam - Sound Affects
9. The Action - Rolled Gold

Vote 2 off by December 20.

'Sound Affects' is my favorite album by The Jam, but considering the remaining competition, it has to go.  :(

Same! the ending competition is super tight and sadly I have to pick that one to go as well.

The Jam - Sound Affects
The Action - Rolled Gold

I was this cool the whole time.

Time for The Action to go.

Once our current battle is over I'm planning on putting this thread on hiatus during Christmas, so we'll probably be starting whichever genre we end up right after New Year's. In other words, no rush in deciding the outcome right away, but I figured it was best to put it to a vote now so I don't have to update the thread during Christmas.

Proto Punk or Prog is cool with me. Lots of tough choices on both lists, though, so I'll be doing a lot of coin tossing.

I feel like we did a variation of Punk kind of recently so I'm going with Prog.

We can do Proto Punk after Prog.

The Jam

I was this cool the whole time.

I vote prog, because I'm already intimately familiar with all of those albums so I feel less out of my element.

"stressed" is just "desserts" spelled backwards

We have eliminated The Jam, bringing us to our final round!

Final Round

1. The Who - The Who Sell Out
2. The Kinks - Face to Face

Vote 1 off by tomorrow, December 23.

I'm also tallying your genre votes and we're certainly tending towards one particular genre. Official announcement to come at the conclusion of this battle.

The Kinks

I was this cool the whole time.
