Grealish is clearly much better than Sterling. Sterling is a good player who performed to a high level in Pep's system but Grealish is way more creative

japanese high school baseball also attracts crowds at that level

and nothing outside the united states tops week after week attendance at college football

not that i'm shitting on it - what you're describing is great but i've looked at stadium sizes in europe - i get soccer is huge but when it comes to sports - except for extreme lunacy levels of love from pockets of european soccer fans just on the whole and on the steady nothing i've seen is as deeply woven as sports are into the culture of the american south and a few cities up north, in particular philly

Dunno if you're being literal with the black hoodies but the hardcore element of many fan bases don't tend to wear team colours by default. It's just seen as unsophisticated. Also over here pubs won't let you in if you're wearing team colours, so that's partly how it started. So they're not really going out of their way to do it.

They have also now banned other stuff like Stone Island because of its association with unsavoury elements of support.
