I like Sparks but I also appreciate their videos.  This a win/win for me because I like the song and video!

If the music you're listening to isn't worth standing for then why are you listening?

Maybe the best thing they've ever done

A fine jazz funk tune, which fully deserves to be remixed into a house tune. This vibe is guaranteed to turn into a house classic sooner or later.

For instance at 5:10, "and you wanna know the truth, the truth is ain't nobody fighting...nobody know what to say"

I'm desperately learning the bass part, the fingering won't be easy.

Brian Jackson & Gil Scott-Heron - "Winter in America"

"An underrated muso" but don't quote me on it..

Back when guitar heroes were considered a dime a dozen.  A buddy of mine saw David Werner at The Agora (Cleveland) and the opener was Pat Benatar.

Released 25 years ago today - Avalanches' Since I Left You.

The Original Australian Zomba Promo Mix is absolutely stellar. Sadly due to licensing restrictions, it will likely never see a vinyl release.

Still a milestone of plunderphonia. <3

(I'm like this all the time.)
