Anyone watch this? For those who may not know, it's a show for kids to teach them about history in a fun and mostly irreverent way, satirical but keeping to the facts. So you have things like King Henry VIII on YouTube giving his top tips for choosing a wife, live reports from the Battle of Hastings, and gameshows involving maybe Roundheads v Cavaliers. They also do some truly great satirical songs. It can be a bit crude - it is aimed at kids, after all - and rude, but it's generally put together really well.

If you're a fan, post your favourite bits from the show. This is one of mine.

Wasn't this originally just books? I'm sure I remember the books from school before they started doing video.

I did see their video where they claimed a load of Brits going back thousands of years in some cases were actually black, so I'd argue they don't always keep to the facts.

The series is based on the books, yes.
I haven't seen them all, so can't confirm that, but any historical facts I've seen so far I've been nodding and saying "yeah, that's right". Such as the totally insane idea the plotters had to dry out the gunpowder before a fire!  You should see the song Boudica does: class it is - "London, Colchester, St. Albans, everybody talk about dead Romans!"
