This happened three years ago with the FBI joining the ranks of protests.

I was this cool the whole time.

Quote from: DJChameleon on Nov 11, 2024, 02:33 PMThe "jews always play the victim" statement comes from the media constantly forcing down everyone's throats stories about antisemitism but consistently ignoring stories about Muslims getting attacked and this has been going on for more than a year at this point.
if you pay any attention to world history, that's a shockingly naive statement. Sorry but I don't know any other way to say this.

Quote from: DJChameleon on Nov 11, 2024, 06:18 AMThis happens often known as cointelpro.

It happened a lot during the BLM protests that were peaceful for the most part until a rogue agent or two disguised as a protester decides to ramp up the chaos of the situation.

Also in this story with the hooligans, the police didn't care and would just drive by while the chavs were going around pulling flags down and chanting.

Well yeah, the BLM riots were quite a disturbing time. On the one hand their were genuine concerns being expressed by black communities who were sick of being treated as second class citizens, being traffic-stopped for no reason because police knew they could make easy arrests in a particular area, often in my opinion because the victim would be like a Gill Scott-Heron guy i.e. pensive and accommodating. The police probably took advantage of this.
Okay George Floyd was supposely under the influence of something, but should someone still sit on his neck?
And then you had the BLM brand going a bit too far by proclaiming all sorts of unrealistic mission statements such as the break up of the family structure. That didn't quite sit straight with me, or maybe I misunderstood it.
In hindsight though, the Kyle Rittenhouse situation was awful. A guy firing multiple rounds into a crowd out of self defense. Maybe the guy did fear for his life, but it was such a messed up situation that it should not have come to that.

^I realise I didn't respond to your original post, DJ. Yes I do think cointelpro did have a part to play in ramping up peaceful protests during BLM protests. It would only take one or two rogue agents to stir up trouble (for instance setting fire to a homeless guy's shelter) for the media to jump on it and try to give the impression that BLM hate homeless people.

The story about the Amsterdam police is also troubling. Tbh I don't think the Amsterdam police have a great relationship with the local troublemakers (a bit like the Brussels police with the Molenbeek trouble makers) so perhaps this clouded their goggles.

Yeah I remember seeing a video where this kid with a hoodie and mask on was about to throw a chair at the police and this black dude grabbed the chair and stopped him saying we don't do that here. There were definitely people that just wanted to rile up some of the peaceful protests that were happening.

There were also opportunitists that just wanted to riot for free stuff.

I was this cool the whole time.

QuoteA group of people carrying Nazi flags demonstrated outside a community theater performance of "The Diary of Anne Frank" in Livingston County, Michigan, in a display of antisemitism.

Several masked men showed up waving Nazi flags and reportedly shouted antisemitic and racist slurs outside the American Legion Post 141 in Howell on Saturday during the play, according to CNN affiliate WXYZ.

"People were shocked. They were appalled," Army veteran Bobby Brite told WXYZ. "Everything you would expect."
