Kim Dotcom to be extradited to the US

U.S. authorities say Mr Dotcom and three other Megaupload executives cost film studios and music producers more than $500m in losses.




I will say, Mega were and are cunts. The amount of times I would literally begin, for the first time, a download and be told I had used up my download limit for that day, would I like to buy a premium membership? Naturally, my reply had to do with inserting something somewhere quite painful.

Around the late 2000s and probably crossing over into the early 10s, I do remember the staggering amount of obscure blogs that would review rare albums AND provide download links.

And Google had a dedicated blog search.

So I may have done some DLing too back then 😬

4 children found shot in stolen car in Minneapolis

Four children, ages 11 to 14, driving around Minneapolis in a stolen car were shot and wounded, one critically, when an assailant chasing them unleashed a barrage of gunfire on the vehicle, police said.

The shooting unfolded around 1 a.m. Sunday in northwest Minneapolis, setting off ShotSpotter gunfire detection activations and prompting multiple 911 calls, according to Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara.
