I think mine are pretty easy this time, so I'm going to go with a two-fer if that's ok. These bands, both from the same era, have a pretty similar musical sound too: guess one and you're likely to simultaneously guess the other as well:-

Band 1: The Periods of Calm Weather
Band 2: The Lights

^ Actually, no, Trollheart: not quite that literal, and also The Darkness is not a band I've heard of. The heyday of these bands pre-date Pentangle by about 5 yrs I should think. Pretty popular at the time, I never hear them mentioned on SCD, as their sound is a bit dated.
