John Viscount and the Princes and Princesses

The only band coming to mind is Christine and the Queens, but I don't think they're well known outside of France.

Could you add a hint or two, TH? Is it a literal one, i.e. in the spirit of "Jeanne McVities and the Peasants and Shoe Polishers"?

"An underrated muso" but don't quote me on it..

All I'll say is that John Viscount usually performs alone under his own name, the Princes and Princesses are his band but not normally mentioned (think Nick Cave/Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds) and we're talking just a regular guy here, who does it the hard way down Copperhead Road. If that don't give it away, well, shoot, you're all a buncha Johnny Come Latelys.
