While we wait for the stragglers, might as well look at options for the third mixtape, as we're more than halfway through March now.

Post your suggestions and I'll pollify them.

May I suggest the category: "Well, that song surprised me." (Past tense, because it's a sad fact that a sense of surprise must inevitably wear out pretty quickly.)

Yep, it's simple enough. All the details are in the OP on the first thread, but basically we choose a theme and everyone submits one song via YT link on that theme. We all listen for about a week and then write our comments, rinse and repeat.

So space as in outer space or as in personal/living space, or both?

Okay, ladies, gentlemen and assorted beings, it looks like we have our theme, and it's


So let's get the songs in shall we? As usual, there's plenty of latitude allowed, so songs about (or by!) aliens, songs about spaceships, other planets, galaxies, you know the kind of thing.

PM me your choice of song if possible by Sunday, March 30 and I'll put the list together for Monday so we can start listening.

I've only got one submission so far, and it's Saturday.
I was considering widening the selection to up to three tracks each: not sure how anyone feels about that?
