Papa roach - Getting away with murder

It is kinda catchy. I can see the attraction. Unfortunately, I find the vocals and style overall a bit annoying 😐




HIM - Killing loneliness

Another relatively catchy song mixing heavy guitars with a more ballady feel and theme. I can see the appeal, but it's ultimately too melodramatic for my tastes 🤔




Neko Case - Deep Red Bells

Sounds like First Aid Kit must've listened to Neko Case. I like it! I also understand it has to do with Gary Ridgeway. Best song so far.




Jean-Luc Ponty - Good guys, Bad guys

I actually don't know this song, yet the style is very familiar to me. The song structure is quite loose here with a lot of room for soloing and freestyling. I actually prefer more structurally composed songs, also in this genre.. though we do get a taste midway. Ponty sounds great, as always 🙂




Iron Maiden - Killers

The screaming, Evil laughs, twin guitars, galloping rhythms.. this is a fun song and classic Iron Maiden. What's not to like? 🤘




MU - Ballad of brother Lew

To me, this sounds more curious than enjoyable. Sounds like it could benefit from a remix / remaster 🤔 it's not bad, though.
