Google Docs: safe?

I find myself wondering, given that Google is a massive AMERICAN concern, and seems to be bowing to the Trumpian altar, is it still safe to use it? Am I likely to wake up one day and find anything I've written that is anti-Trump or pro-LGBTQi or just that the administration doesn't agree with has been either a) altered b) edited/redacted c) made inaccessible or d) deleted? Am I being over-concerned here, or is this a valid fear? Surely Google can get access to all our documents if they want, and if they're told by His Imperial Trumpness to do a hatchet job, they can? So, would you consider Google Docs still a place for free speech?
