We do this every month, for years over at Boxden, I don't see why it can't be something here.
Just a weekly check in on where you're at and if things are on track.
Not a daily workout thread but more of a goals and progress tracking thread, BX has both also.

"You do not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems"

is a quote by James Clear, author of Atomic Habits. This quote emphasizes the importance of systems in achieving goals.

I have found out with years of goal posting at Boxden and when I was with "The Incubator", that listing a ton of goals for a month can be somewhat overwhelming and harder to get everything finished. I focus on exactly what I want to get accomplished and then only do those goals. Some people can make a huge list of goals but I guess not me. So mine is only a few things.

(I of course have a lot of other personal goals, but these are the fitness ones)

"A goal is a dream with a deadline." - Napoleon Hill

Tried a fast yesterday and didn't get that far. 24 hour fast was easy for me but then going to sleep, something in me just didn't vibe and I ended up eating a meal. I made it to 30 hours and didn't want to sleep and push the fast to something too much I guess.

I have cut out the goal to fast for 3 days, 3 different times down to just more 24 hour fasts/one meal a days.

I think that is the best healthiest way to approach fasting. I know 48+ hours enters super healthy mode but maybe in the future, just not now. I thought about how if I can get down to a steady one meal a day every 24 hours, that would be a easier pattern to build than trying for a 2 or 3 day fast.

2 workout sessions down also for September, hyped for #3 tomorrow.

Been running in the mornings almost every day, then walking to rest, tempo running.

This week started yesterday, I ended with 22K steps but I am at the spot in fitness where I normally give up because I feel good enough of where I am.

I am pushing myself for the end of this month to lose the last 5-10 pounds that really gets to between 10-15% body fat.

I have not been lifting like I planned at the start of this month. Only 5 sessions so far this month and I planned for 15 total, so I am focusing on getting  a few more days in of rippin muscles before October starts..

My knee has been hurting, but I am using pain cream and ibuprofen

Bought tons of healthy food yesterday, planning to spread it out the whole rest of the month.

From months ago when I made that thread I have now removed here, a 1 mile timed run was hard on my body and slightly difficult. It was so easy this morning that I just went with 2 more miles and timed it. I ended up not caring about timed 1 mile and just started tempo running as much as possible.

Fastest I got a 1 mile timed run was 7:27

Finally just did a 2 mile timed run and didn't do as well as I thought I'd do. First try but ended with a 16:20

I'll be going for a timed 3 mile next and not keep trying to get faster 1 miles or faster 2 miles.
