Record Store Day is fast approaching, April 12 to be exact.  I've gone to a few in the past and it's fun waiting outside for the doors to open and talking music from days long ago.  Very reminiscent of waiting for concert tix to go on sale back in the day.

It's always best to call the day before and see if your store has what you're looking for.  Here are some artists that I like that will have releases available; The Dictators, Jethro Tull, Nick Lowe, Queen, Todd Rundgren, Teenage Bottlerocket, Sweet.

I'm lucky, there is a stretch of road in a neighboring city that has four locations in a 15 minute stretch of road.

Hopefully a talking point for artists and releases on the list.

I've occasionally purchased some RSD items online after the day has passed and stores are advertising whatever they still have in stock. Never had the patience or desire to stand in line and wait for a store to open on RSD, though.

Most likely due to you having a life and me on the other hand not having anything better to do on a Saturday morning.

Continuing the trend, I'll most likely do something on the 8th to celebrate Rex Manning Day.
