Why to NPR ? Because of this sinister demand:-

The House of Representatives panel working with DOGE recently sent a letter to the heads of both NPR and PBS demanding that they appear to testify on Capitol Hill regarding taking government funding to share what the panel referred to as "systemically biased content."

As Musk's DOGE lurches ever furthur in a direction of Orwellian control, I think it's time to watch for the language shifts that Orwell warned against. Remember his "Freedom is Slavery" slogans? Or the Ministry of Truth, in charge of propaganda? In my opinion, The House of Representatives is  going after the hapless NPR, not for the stated reason of "systemically biased content" but precisely because NPR is NOT systemically biased, in the desired Trumpian direction. I think any attempt an impartiality or independence of viewpoint is seen as a threat by the President's team, and that NPR will suffer under the new oligarchy, just as the AP  has recently suffered for not going along with Trump's diktat about the Gulf of America.
