Happy habits: The daily gratitude & kindness challenge

Today's Kindness
A colleague really needed my help today, so I dropped everything to help him out.

Today's Gratitudes
1) I had a kinda important pitch / presentation today and it went well 🙂

2) There's some re-organization going on which means I'll be moving up a floor next week and one of my colleagues has jokingly asked me so many times to stay with them and even suggested I should work for them.. twice today! I am flattered 🙂

3) I enjoyed dinner which was green pancakes made with ground peas in the batter 😲

Today's Kindness
I have done various acts of kindness today.. like carrying my colleague's baby carriage for her 🙂

Today's Gratitudes
1) I was at the Parking department today, teaching them how to use some digital tools I helped set up for them. They were so grateful! Their leader gave me a department mug after my talk.. and a hug! 🥰

2) I was at a farewell luncheon thing for this department that is getting re-organized and my old colleague E who I'm covering for was there with her brand new baby ❤️🥰 I was so happy to see her. I haven't dared tell her, but she's always so kind and supportive and I love her like a little sister 🙂

3) Me and wifey had a talk today and we may have agreed to open up our relationship a bit and I think that might lead to some excitement.. 🙂

Today's Kindness
I did a few kind things today. My favorites were.. an older female colleague who I don't really know dropped by our department and happened to mention that it was her last day. I said that I would've liked to get to know her better before she left and asked if I could give her a hug and she enthusiastically gave me one 😄 I love hugging strangers, or very new friends. Second was the local football team were selling cookies and I bought some for the fam 😊

Today's Gratitudes
1) I got in contact with a certain types of person that I've wanted to meet and I have a meetup planned with her on the town tomorrow evening 🙂

2) I appreciated that hug I got at work today 😊

3) I loved sushi bowls for dinner, even if it somehow made me sick 😅 pooping my heart out currently.

Saturday's Kindness
I.. tidied the house a lot and was a fun dad to my kids 🤔

Saturday's gratitudes
1) I enjoyed breakfast made by my lovely wife 🙂

2) I enjoyed going to the library with the kids. I had to read a Minecraft book for my boy. He was adamant about it.

3) Going out on the town, I had a fun talk with a young gay man who wanted me to feel his swollen biceps and I also played pool with a handsome Latin American guy named Bruno 😊

4) Oh, and I got a jog in!

Yesterday's Kindness
Not much chance of any special kindness as we spent the whole day at home.

Yesterday's Gratitudes
1) Got some exercise in 🙂

2) We had a fucking delicious dinner 👌 slow cooked ribs in a sweet sauce with rice, cucumber, stringed carrots, lots of coriander/cilantro. Wonderful!

3) I enjoyed watching the rest of Heretic with wifey 🙂

Today's kindness
Took our neighbours daughter to gymnastics again, which is sorta kind.

Today's gratitudes
1) I was good at my work today 🙂 held a presentation for IT about some of the challenges we face and they were really interested. Their big boss was there too.

2) My friend and colleague is trying to hook me up with a cute gay friend of hers 😊

3) We have our first bottle of Kombucha that we've produced after starting up again a little while ago and it's friggin delicious!! 😲 One of our best so far.

Today's kindness
I was a good friend to a couple of colleagues and invited them for coffee chats. Also made a new friend at work. Two, actually!

Today's gratitudes
1) My friend C dropped by my office and we had a great talk. She's so kind ❤️

2) I also had a fun talk with B. She's from a very liberal environment, so not judgemental at all.. which is fun because we can talk about things you could never say out loud during lunch. We sat and talked on the roof balcony in the sun.

3) I went for a jog and it felt real good ❤️

4) Me and wifey had some kinky fun time together this evening 😊
