Reading about Lucy Letby again made me think of this thread again. Maybe getting killed by Lucy Letby would be a good way to go, but supposedly those newborns suffered horribly.

Harold Shipman might not be so bad. His method of choice was lethal doses of diamorphine.

That's the most insane thing about this story.

Why can people not get it through their thick skulls that someone can be a wonderful friend to you and become a completely different person in a different context. You can be the best listener in the world when you're with your best friend and then have urges that would never get triggered in the context of that friendship and that make you do horrible things.

You could kind of understand if it was one victim, I'd imagine that's pretty common where the family and friends believe they're innocent. But she's been found guilty of killing at least 7. Could be more!

You could get "lucky" getting blown away by Ted Kaczynski (Unabomber) or perhaps shot in the head by David Berkowitz (Son of Sam), but you might also just end up mangled.

A Cartel related serial Killer that might be one of the worst people to get taken out by is Adolfo Constanzo. But at least you would be dead within hours or days after the torture started. It wouldn't take weeks like it did for Robert Berdella's victims 🤔

I actually used to know a guy who was married to a daughter of a high-ranking member of one of the Mexican cartels. I never felt uneasy around him but I was always a bit leery of becoming too close to him and his family.

I don't think of most cartel Killers as serial Killers, though possibly they all are or some of them. When I think of serial killer, I think of someone who's internally motivated to kill. Usually it's because it turns them on, but it could be something else.

Being ordered or paid to kill are external motivators, so I typically think of those as hired Killers or something else.

The only Hitman I've done a little diving into is Richard Kuklinski (who'd probably poison you btw) and he DID act as a serial killer now and then, murdering people when it wasn't a job or paid anything. Among other things, he supposedly killed homeless people for practice and a bunch of guys in a road rage incident. For practice does sound work related, but I also assume he liked doing it.

His worst supposed way to kill someone (imo) was leave them tied in a cave to die by rats. He also supposedly set up a camera to film it.
