List three otherwise unrelated movies with a common theme or through-line, a significant scene or shared plot point, something that would connect the films to make an unintentional trilogy. Then the rest of us guess the theme.
Don't make it obvious but don't get all obscure and annoying. If you think of a really good one but think it's pretty tough go ahead and post it but acknowledge it as such. There will probably be guesses that are factually accurate, but aren't what you had in mind. Acknowledge them as such. Multiple trilogies can be posted, and multiple guesses can be made. Just try to be clever.
No marvel or associated universes or I swear to god...😤 Don't do lists like "best fight scenes" or anything subjective. Give hints if you want but if it's too difficult for people to guess it's probably not a good trilogy. So say I. No themes like "movies starring/directed by __."
For example-
Triple Feature:
The Shawshank Redemption
Silence of the Lambs
The Count of Monte Cristo
Spoiler
Pivotal prison escape scenes

I'm gonna be honest, I'm drawing a blank on the hard one.
I haven't seen Gummo, but I'm just gonna make a poor guess. Maybe they're movies where animals get killed or cruelly treated? In Predator, Arnold might kill some animal in the jungle. I can't actually remember if a scene like that is included, but making a guess. In The Fly, Jeff's scientist is running experiments on a baboon and I believe Gummo has cat bothering in it.
Am I right?
Here's a trilogy I thought of:
- Halloween
- Eyes Without a Face
- V for Vendetta
I'm also thinking it might be too easy 😄

Key, you weren't supposed to tell people about that. Like I said, it wasn't you, it was me.

Movies that have gross moments.

For the sake of discussion, I can't remember any particularly gross moments from Predator.
I could add that my tolerance for grossness is also quite high.
@degrassi.knoll what's in the box!?

You're on the right track in the depth of your consideration.
Here's a hint:

Carl Weathers' arm getting torn off and falling to the forest floor while still firing his gun was pretty gross, but I agree it's not as gross as the other two movies.

Oh, it's arm wrestling. I just remembered that scene from The Fly where he breaks the guy's arm.

You got it. And in Gummo there's Big Man vs Little Man.
Pretty proud of this one, not gonna lie
I couldn't remember arm wrestling scenes from any of those, but good thinking still.
I guess my trilogy was too easy to bother with? 😅
