If you were to look at, in a vacuum, whether white women would be more enthusiastic to vote for a white woman or a black woman (all things being equal), that's one thing, but looking at who they're more enthusiastic to vote for between a black woman and Trump (and the possibility, whether likely or not, of further restriction to abortion rights/access) is different.
By the way, the Democrats recent employment of the word 'weird' in describing Republicans is really, really excellent persuasion. Much, much better than 'they are a threat to our democracy!'. It's so much more subtle, and yet it's so much more effective.

What's the deal with some destinations being only accessible with a guided tour? I get it for dangerous and difficult to reach places like caves and shit but yesterday we had this at an aquarium and today at a museum. We don't like tours. We want to explore stuff at our own pace and in our own way without having to listen to and interact with anyone else.

Without more context, this being a thing for aquariums or museums doesn't make much sense. But it does make sense for a place like Machu Picchu, where they want to protect a historical site - and then there's things like foreign visits to North Korea where they want to protect the image of their Potemkin country. I agree with you though, most of the time, I prefer no guide and going at my own pace.

It's a historical ship that you can visit with your ticket to the NYC Seaport Museum. When it was active in the early 20th century a crew of 14 people lived in it year round, so in a way I guess the B.O. probably made it a more authentic experience.

Image sharing should be as easy as right-clicking and selecting "copy image address" or the equiavlent on your browser. As mentioned, some dynamic image thingies won't let you copy (something to do with Java or Adobe or something?) - in those cases, I usually take a screenshot, pop it into Paint Shop or whatever graphic program you prefer, and cut out the image I want. Having been one of those who walked around with a (ahem) small boom box when considerably younger, I probably can't criticise. But hey, I'm an old man now, so I will. It's my right as an old fogey to moan about the things all you young 'uns do, conveniently forgetting (my memory's not what it used to be) that I used to do them too.
But really, what is the deal with wanting everyone to have to listen to your music? In my day (here he goes again) we had walkman tape players, so even then you could listen to your music privately while out. Sure, we still had the boombox walking dead, but not quite so much of it. Now though, with such things as, as you say, bluetooth so you can listen to music on your phone without a need for cables, why is it necessary to expose other people who may not enjoy your music to the delights of whatever you're listening to? Seems like pure arrogance to me, like those people who have to turn their speakers around and face them out the window. Hey dude or dudess! Not everyone wants to hear your god-damn music!
And while we're at it, how can people listen to music in cars so loud? I passed a car a few weeks ago and the windows were up but even from maybe six feet away (I was walking) you could hear the bass shaking the car. Imagine what it was like inside! And then imagine trying to concentrate on your driving with that racket!

Today I caught those automatically-generated subtitle texts making the same mistake that I sometimes do: a newscaster obviously meant "aren't", but was so lazy in his enunciation that me and the auto-text both heard "are". Frankly, if you're not going to bother pronouncing "are" or "aren't" with proper clarity, why bother saying your sentence at all. Ditto goes with "can" and "can't": being complete opposites, not pronouncing them clearly is about as useful as answering a question with "nyeh" or "yope".
My nieces answer questions with "nar" or "yar" and they don't even know what Sean of the Dead is.

Tweets are now just posts. Zero personality. He had such a hard on for X. PayPal was once called X for a bit before it got turned into PayPal which makes more sense.

Engagement farm = people say controversial takes just to get people riled up so that they comment, like, re-post and share the topic and it gets more views. In the back end people get paid based off of how many views, comments and likes a post gets. So much so that people will buy bots to reply to people's comments so that they get more comments added in the post for a higher check/payout.

Do the rip test. If they rip as easily as regular toilet paper then it's fine. Usually flushable wipes tend to be slightly stronger than toilet paper and shouldnt be flushed if that's the case. It means they won't break down as easily as TP.

It's the same argument though. Even if they don't specifically say "don't flush them", they're actually telling you as a buyer that you can, so why then do people say don't do it? No entender senor.

An aside, but wet wipes are a menace to our wastewater pumps. They get lodged in the pumps and accumulate there, turning into big, ragged lumps that vaguely resemble dead cats or some other hairy animal. Eventually, they completely clog/gum things up and the pumps need to be opened up so you can remove them. It quickly causes pollution when sewage isn't getting to where it needs to go and takes time to fix.. and of course the people fixing it are exposed to sewage with the related risks and everyone prefers less of that.. Unless they have some very strange kinks.
