I can't stand baseball honestly but I always watch during the World Series.
It is more exciting when it's down to the wire.
My team used to be Altanta Braves until those racist allegations came out about one of their pitchers back in the day.
I started being a Braves fan back in 00.
They were going up against the Yankees during the World Series. I just wanted to root for whatever team was going to beat up the Yankees. I live in NY but I'm not a fan of the Yankees or the Mets. Both of those teams can suck my ass.
I think Ohtani is the mvp
The Red Sox have been my preferred team since the summer of '67 when I first started paying attention to baseball in my preteen years.
I probably watch 1/4 of their games on TV and go to Fenway Park occasionally to see the team play at home.

How are live games compared to watching?
I have seen a few live baseball games but only from local teams. Two weeks ago I went to a Renegades game. They are my local squad and they played against Brooklyn Cyclones. I was rooting for the Cyclones the whole game. They ended up winning 6 to 2.

Different vibe from watching a game on TV. Some of it depends on where you are standing or sitting but watching from a fixed position, you realize how much those multi-camera angles and views change your perception of the game when you're watching one on TV. Something about seeing a player hit a home run and watching the ball fly through the air and into the stands or out of the park seems way more fun when you're there than it does when you see it on TV. And the thousands of enthusiastic pro-ball fans inside the ballpark add another dimension to the game that you just don't get unless you're there and part of the crowd.

I might have to go to a MLB game in person one time for the experience. I'm sure it's different than the small local games I've been to.

YES! I love to hear that the Yankees are doing bad. Overrated crap team. I was never a Yankees fan even when they were doing super well.
October is right around the corner which means World Series time. It's the only time I get super excited for baseball.

I think for the wild card chances but whatever, not a good time for Chicago fans. Bears 14 straight lost and now cubs not making the post season

Try being a NY team fan across all the sports.
Yankees and Mets trash, Giants trash, Jets almost had a chance and weak ankled Rodgers blew it trash now, Knicks and Nets garbagio. Bills are the only redeeming team and I also think the Rangers were pretty good but Islanders nope!
