been using these, liking them much
Otherwise known as...pens!
In the rare cases I actually need one, I'll consider myself lucky if I find one, and even luckier if it actually works. I'll use whatever pen I can find!
Save the trees, go digital.
By the way, if this is worthy of its own thread, could I start one about what toilet paper we all use?
No.

Make sure to title it as "butt wipers"
That's a shit idea.
QuoteOctopuses use ink as a primary defense mechanism against predators. When threatened, they release a dark, often black, cloud of ink that obscures the predator's vision, allowing the octopus to escape. The ink is produced in a sac located between the gills and is expelled through the siphon, the tube-like structure used for jet propulsion.
chill haters....we had a pen thread at MB. so i thought we could get one going here again.
(btw, there is no more Mindy over at MB)

As they say in Dublin "personny" I use Kirkland. The savings keep me fully supplied with ice cream and condoms for a year.
OTOH: Only the best people appreciate the "scallop" tear over the straight. You see, it's the amount of research that goes into it, not unlike art appreciation you know.

The doctors only let me use crayons; not sharp, you see. They all remember the time I got my hands on a Papermate: it wasn't that guy's mate, that's for sure!

Parker Jotter.

Used them for about 25 years. Nothing special I just really like them. Feel good in the hand, solid, really smooth to write with. Easy to replace the cartridges.
USA! USA!

If I ever go over there, I am making that place a stop 8)
Those jotters are nice
I remember those Parker pens, which are pretty smooth-flowing. Some version of them has been around since my childhood and it's only TIL that Parker is not a British company. :(
They've sometimes been my regular go-to pen, but after a number of years, I didn't much like the feel of them in my hand. For me, the plastic makes the gripping of them a little too slippery, and the metal makes them too heavy at the wrong end, so the balance is wrong. Also, I've grown to prefer a pen that has no clip fixed on it.
