I thought it might be fun to share some songs with unintelligible lyrics.
Which ones come to mind?
For myself, I was reminded of how unintelligible She Sells Sanctuary is earlier today, at least the choruses.

There's a whole bunch of lyrics that I fail to understand, and most often I'm not curious enough to find the lyrics online, which is today's quick remedy of course.
At least with this song, I know I'm not alone in being mystified:
Pearl Jam. Pretty much all of it.
"Weird Al" Yankovic parodied Dylan's mumbly lyrics by writing an entire song of palindromes
When this song was released in 1969, it was famous for being indecipherable:-
That didn't stop it from rightly being a big hit, and listening to it today I notice this: (i) it starts with a perfectly understandable phrase that draws you in ("
Get up in the morning"), but continues with cryptic references to "
the Israelites" and "
don't want to end up like Bonnie and Cyde". To me, that's a great combination: something to understand + something to keep you guessing.
