"Down The Line" was a phone-in radio show created by comedians (Paul Whitehouse from The Fast Show etc.) which aired on BBC Radio 4 around 2006-2009. I think mainstream radio phone-ins are still a kind of a rarity or clumsy communication format, and the show took advantage of this to the max. They play on stereotypes, accents and the things which bothered people back then. Hilarious.
