I like the flavour of raspberries, but I hate getting their little seeds stuck in my teeth 🙂

Quote from: Mrs. Waffles on Sep 26, 2023, 02:25 PMI absolutely love raspberries and bananas. Strawberries I'm less keen on because they have less give to the texture and I like the juiciness of a good raspberry.

yeah something about raspberries I can't get into bleh.

I'm thinking about putting chia seeds or trying out flax seeds in my oatmeal and maybe some greek yogurt.

I was this cool the whole time.

I love raspberries and just had some on top of Greek yogurt this morning. I don't really notice the seeds in raspberries because they're small and velvety.

I don't like blueberries, especially if they're bitter.   Don't care for their mushy/woodsy texture either.

I don't mind blackberries flavor-wise, but they're way too seedy.

I like strawberries, but they have to be very ripe.

Am I picky enough about berries?

For oatmeal, Bob's Red Mill Scottish porridge is by far my favorite - so smooth and delicious!

I noticed Bob's Red Mill oatmeal products have popped up in my local Wal-Mart. I'm thinking about trying it next time. I normally go for the classic Quaker Oats.

Those god damned quakers. They know their oats, though.

Do you guys get skyr?

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skyr

It's from Iceland, but has also been produced here for some years now. It's similar to yoghurt, but has a pretty decent protein content.

I would be willing to try it but I haven't tasted it before.

I've heard of it. Yogurt is a common snack for me so I'd be interested to try it, see how different it is.

"stressed" is just "desserts" spelled backwards

It's just slightly firmer with a slightly drier texture. It definitely feels like a healthier yoghurt.

Quaker is just fine, but give Bob's Red Mill Scottish a try if you can!  It's creamier than your usual oatmeal.

Yes, I have Skyr occasionally – it's a bit milder and even thicker than Greek yogurt.  I like it, but buy Greek yogurt much more frequently because it's less expensive here.  I eat a lot of Greek yogurt, practically every day.

Yes mate, I have one pot a day. 45g protein in it. Which is incredible.

Only God knows.

Ok question. How do y'all like your steak done. I'm a medium rare kinda guy. I can do a medium but well done is a hell nah

Med rare is good. Rare is fine as well. I'd deal with medium.

Probably medium rare but controversy alert, I don't think steak is all that and I could take it or leave it.

I'd go for a cheeseburger before a steak.

Think it's overrated tbh. When it's less than top quality it's just average or shit, when it's top quality it's decent but not as nice as a cheeseburger. I'd actually marry a cheeseburger.

I agree with all this 🤔

Steak is good and all, but also often one of the more expensive yet boring things on a menu.

And cheeseburgers are awesome.

Yeah, Steaks are like special occasions thing for me but I go medium well with both my steaks and my burgers. Sometimes I will go well done on burgers depending on my mood.

Also who uses A1 sauce with their steaks?
