Burgers are great. But steak is a different thing I don't compare them. Mrs. Waffles makes a really great flank steak marinade.

Well you can't judge me cos we don't have it over here. I've heard it's similar to what we call brown sauce, which is HP Sauce. Tastes very tangy and vinegary. Bit of spice.

I have done but I don't think it's that good. Usually when I've been drunk. Otherwise it's too acidic for my stomach.

So the running joke related to steak is that you are a cave man if you like your steak well done and add ketchup or A1 sauce to it.

If anything I can understand putting ketchup on it more if it's a well done steak, the ketchup would offset the dryness.

You'll never catch me putting ketchup on steak under any circumstance though. Marinades and creative seasoning can really do a lot to give it a rich flavor.

I agree wholeheartedly. My mom taught me the value of marinades; there are some cuts I never thought I liked, but trying them with a good marinade really made a big difference.

@Mr. Waffles and I are big fans of marinated pork chops.
