2 cheerleaders were shot in a Texas supermarket parking lot after one opened the door to the wrong vehicle. A suspect is under arrest

definitely not shooting a cheerleader who decides to climb into my car

i be like "hey gurl you just made a fantastic decision..."

Good job you made that joke on here and not on Mb otherwise...

Yeah I don't think anyone on MB would have had a problem with that joke. We're not Puritans you know.

it's sad to hear you say "we" when referring to that den of losers and scum

I'd think Americans are scared because you have a lot of poor people and junkies (who one might fear could resort to more desperate measures), far too many guns and racial tensions.

Happiness is a warm manatee

QuoteI think a major part of the equation here is the gun industry pushing the narrative that the solution to being scared is to buy a gun

i don't think that's a narrative they have to push

that's cold beer in hell

a gun is a god stick

some things sell themselves

india has all that minus the guns and their big cities are pretty safe

Does India have a big drug problem? Wasn't aware of that.

Only God knows.

Maybe people are scared there too? A little less since there's less guns, maybe 🙂

That's interesting, I've had the experience many times where I live, but my front steps are right on the sidewalk so I probably have a lot more foot traffic passing by my door.

If they don't have to, why do they spend so much time and money doing so? This is about them moving product.

This is what you want. This is what you get.

yeah - they got a lot of addicts but - i'm not an expert but i saw signs about it there - i'd guess the ratio is much smaller but the incredible density of people means everything imaginable is going on -

but culturally they're superior to americans

they don't just hurt each other for amusement or not often

the usa has a lot of really good people but it's also super aggressive

like i've never been to any other country where you had to be so forceful to get drinks in a busy bar

if you just go up to the bar they never ask you what you need until you flash money point make gestures all that

just for example

now i'm in a neighborhood where everyone has big fences, some with razor wire - but to knock on our door at night means you already climbed a fence or broke a lock

in some cities you can't reach anybody's door (san francisco)

in flatbush it was a big metal thing you needed a key to just to get to a door

i didn't live there but bed stuy was razor wire everywhere like a prison

but yeah our old place had an easy open fence but it was down an uninviting alley

well that's political

the anti-gun lobby spends money too

but guns sell on their own - that's my take anyway-

Sorry man. No matter what you'd like to think, I'm still very much active over there, and I don't have a real problem with them. I'm not going to become an MB-hater: there's enough Trollheart to go round.

It may be political for some people, but that doesn't change the fact the gun industry is profit driven. They promote gun ownership because it improves their bottom line.
