Are you English? Thought you were Aussie. Do you want England to win?

Only God knows.

I'm English as far as being born in St. Mary's Hospital in Manchester and growing up in Macclesfield, but then moved to France in my teens. So I'll defo be rooting for England. If it's an England v France final then it gets complicated.

(I think Meatwad and Stephen are the resident Aussies on here.)

Kate Middleton has cancer.

Breaking right now.

Get well soon Kate ❤️

Only God knows.

So many wild conspiracies came out leading up to that announcement. 😳

I was this cool the whole time.

They are but I think something is a bit off anyway but I can't describe it.

They Royals never disclose info about health issues really and now we've had two senior Royals in a month go public with a cancer diagnosis. The Queen was believed to have died from it too.

People used to joke about how the Royal Family never gets cancer.

I dunno.

Maybe there is absolutely nothing to it and they're just being more open now.

Only God knows.

Well I feel like she had to go public because it was getting to a fever pitch, with people trying to steal her medical records and leaking her condition.

Fair point. Could just be that.

Correction BTW it's actually three Royals in three months as Duchess Ferguson has got cancer as well.

Only God knows.

TL;DR Nike 'pride-ified' the St George's cross.

Why do politicians care what's on a sports jersey? And what exactly is the complaint anyway, it's not red?

This is what you want. This is what you get.

It's not about the shirt, it's about the national flag. And the issue is that it's a political message and Nike have altered the flag for that message.

Only God knows.

This cargo shipping company is going to have a lot of explaining to do.

I can't imagine how horrifying it must have been to be on that bridge when it collapsed. Nothing in life would ever prepare you for that.

Fair play to the officials who rushed to close the bridge to traffic though. Many lives were saved that would otherwise have been lost. I bet for a short time this was thought to be a new terrorist attack. Any figures on the death toll? I know everyone on the ship is all right but a lot of cars went into the river anyway.

No word on the # of casualties yet I don't think. We don't know the cause yet, so it's still possible it was a cyber-terrorist attack, but that seems somewhat unlikely (because this doesn't really track with patterns of other terrorist attacks, and the disaster happened at a time when there'd be the fewest number of people on the bridge). They better damn well have a good explanation for why it happened though.

What's the political message? I thought they said it was based on some design from some event in the 60s or something.

That's what they've said but it looks nothing like the 66 jacket. It's obviously based on the pride flags.

Only God knows.
