I remember a Leeds United game, back when COVID was raging and they were putting cardboard cutouts of people in the stands during games, where someone put one of Osama Bin Laden in the stands.

Wouldn't surprise me if Hitler had made an appearance at one of those games, also.

I mean I'm not saying nobody should ever find this stuff funny. I'm just always a bit skeptical about the intentions behind "ironic" nazi or racist jokes.

But I don't think laughing at a joke about Hitler is a bad reflection on you or anyone who finds it funny. For the record I think you are a lovely person.

I chuckled at the Farage one too, but I agree that the other "quotes" (re Madeleine McCann and Elisabeth Fritzl) are not funny at all.  What is the matter with people?

Oh, we did that too, absolutely. In freshman year a friend and I actually rigged all the computers in one computer lab to autoplay a rickroll on startup.

Maine is meant to be a beautiful, quiet state as well isn't it? I know these things can happen anywhere (in the USA) but still.

Maine usually ranks number 1 out of the 50 states for the lowest violent crime rate. That mass shooting is about a years worth of murders in one go for the entire state. I don't think anything like that has ever happened in the history of the state of Maine.
