Not much of a protest is it? Throwing confetti on the bride and groom at a wedding?

I expected orange paint or something unpleasant.

Only God knows.

^ in this case it's silly and funny but more and more I'm seeing this leftist, anti-colonial discourse of "indigeneity" turning into something completely sinister, to a fundamentalist cred that says that only those with "native roots" to some place deserve to live there and the rest are colonial settlers and should be ethnically cleansed to achieve justice.

In the US and Canada no one takes it seriously and it's just goofy land acknowledgement shit. But let's say in the context of Israel, this discourse is the progressive and radical dressing on exterminationist intent. "Your Farhud/Holocaust survivor grandparents were colonial settlers who displaced indigenous Palestinians and this is why we shall liberate our native land from your Jewish yoke"

I really love Franz Fanon, have taught his stuff etc. But the stuff his acolytes post on twitter is literally undistinguishable from the Christchurch shooter's manifesto.

Can't help following the BBC presenter thing. Seeing the BBC live-blogging their own sex scandal is really something

Who do you think it is?  :o

Only God knows.

Based purely on the prior scandal, I'd hazard it's Philip Schofield

But it's a crapshoot. Also I don't know that many. Lineker obv, Jeremy Vine cause Sean Lock had a fantastic bit deriding him, Schofield I know cause he was among the presenters Charlie Brooker used to make fun of in his Wipe series. I probably know a few more cause they're big on Twitter or something

Can't be Schofield as he wasn't on the BBC for them to suspend him. Apparently it's a news reporter and it will be a big name, according to a journalist I saw teasing the information on Twitter.

Watch it be some Z list nobody now. Although £35,000 suggests it is a big name.

The BBC carries on disgracing itself.

Only God knows.

I've got TikTok now. I don't really understand it but this is pretty much why I got it, to see these viral type videos. Not necessarily people dying but shit like Milk Crate Challenge.

Basically want to see what all the fuss is about but so far on there it just seems to be Gen Z types miming film quotes and song lyrics. I don't get it.

Anyway RIP.

Only God knows.

There are some interesting things on TikTok outside of just the viral trends and the dancing videos that pop up.

I was this cool the whole time.

Funny you say this, I just had a conversation two days ago with someone about how they feel that native Americans squandered their reparations and the land that was given to them. He essentially reduced them to stereotypes calling them drunks and lazy. He's always advocating for all black everything and for black people to get reparations which includes obtaining land.

I was this cool the whole time.
