Welcome Kaylee (nothing to do with the Marillion song I'm assuming - god you're so young!) and we hope you'll become a part of our little community. If you have any questions, I can usually be found tidying up cables and taking in stray cats to feed around here, as well as dusting off bookshelfs and making sure our stock of heroin is still - uh, um, still, uh, nothing. hii welcome to the forum this is kind of a weird assortment of people so I think ur in the best mixed company that's possible lol. given... the circumstances.  we were all trapped here together when the entrance was sealed after the great forum split of 19 and 27 when the internet existed thru rock-wire connection only and the screens had to manually load by interpretation of sattellitte charte.  we have learned to, begrudgingly, "get-along", while seething and foaming at the mouth in our utter distaste of each other's scents and idiosyncrasies.  the most loving of us, Charles, thankfully passed away some time ago so in the aftermath we were able to begin a new kingdom on SCD that revolves around Cake battles where we have to build the tallest tower to the moon and it has nothing to do with cake.  Speaking of Cake it is my humblest opinion that Cake is about as good as 90s geek rock can get they're pretty swell.  Anyways this forum is doomed to disintegrate with the recent asteroid cataclysm as our servers are located on the smallest moon of Jupiter.  Jupiter is the name of my uncle's neic'es cat, Bartholemeow.  Jupiter is where I was born one fateful moon day ago and I cannot fathom how long this day is because now I'm ancient and decaying into dust.  The dust is then compacted into a medium sized ball for the next step of the process that deals with metaphysical displacement of iron ores in order to then transition into the gangly shape that the product entails in it's inherent form.  Form.  Forum.  Internet.  The internet.  The great internet migration of 2034.  We shall henceforth return to the swamp where all bipedal creatures are birthed.

Unfortunately, as you may soon discover, there won't be hours of reading in those threads, because,being a small community, there's often a limit to what people have to say on any one artist. Still, the forum is something we build up with our own input: start posting in a thread and responses will usually start coming back to you.

Yep, I'm sure everyone will enjoy being "big brother" to your "little sister". We also have a couple of "big sisters" on SCD, although they haven't posted a lot recently. (*ahem* Maria )

PS: those dial phones! So easy to use. I still remember my home phone no. from when I was a child, because the convention was that when you picked up the mouthpiece because of an incoming call, the first thing you did was say your number, so people knew they were talking to the right house. I'm from London, but even so, my "number" was just 3 letters and 4 numbers: across the city, it only required seven digits to give everyone a unique number.

I've been doing a lot of thinking about my decision to delete my old account. I felt like there was an atmosphere in certain sections of the forum that was making me uncomfortable, and I think taking a breather from that was the right move. But there were also a lot of things I missed, and people I really missed, so right now I'm feeling like I want to give it another shot, to try to make being a member of the SCD community work with my current mental state. Accentuate the positive and all that. I want to try to be the change I wish to see, and try my best to make positive contributions to this place.

My mental health isn't the best right now and life has been tumultuous for me. Because of that I might not be quite as active as I used to be, but I still do have an attachment to this place and I consider a lot of you my online friends. So if you'll have me back, I'd love to start a new chapter here.
