As I said on another thread, I don't really care that much who wins as long as someone gets legitimately hurt. It has to be a genuine fight. If its one of those pathetic 'no knockout, no knockdowns' exhibition things then they're just wasting everyone's time.

Zuck is a creepy weirdo, but Musk is both an insufferable shitstain on a human level and a very direct threat to people like me due to his platforming of transphobic and otherwise far-right conspiracy theories.

I hate watching people get hurt, which is why if Musk happened to suffer some kind of debilitating brain injury that would force him to step down and stop pushing his genocidal hate propaganda, it would make the internet feel at least a little bit safer for some of us marginalized groups and hopefully will lead to a lot less people getting hurt.

I read the article and I think Elon Musk is talking out of his arse. I doubt they could get permission despite what he says, its sacred and in ruins. It's one of the most precious buildings in the world but these two think they can just turn up and fight in it? I don't think so.

For now, I hope Musk wins. Not because I like Musk who seems like a person of very poor values, but because Meta's social medias is actively destroying civilizations and undermining fact by spreading lies/conspiracy theory and profit from sicknesses like eating disorders.

About the 2016-2017 Rohingya massacres against the Rohingya Muslims:

Meta themselves accepted Facebook's role as a platform for spreading misinformed hate content against Rohingya muslims, promoting or even justifying atrocities against them, and this is just one example. It can supercharge any conflict and they've been far too happy accepting any content that generates engagement and revenue.

Considering the resources and the reach of Meta, they could've done so much to better mental health, promote fact, reduce violence. Who else were in a better position?

So yeah, Zuckerberg has to take some blame for this. To the face.

They both spread dangerous misinformation and validate conspiracy theories. Half the stuff I've seen Elon retweet (via being linked screenshots of course) has been transphobic libel and borderline Qanon stuff.

I'll amend my sentiment: best case scenario is they give each other debilitating brain injuries.

Musk is an out of shape skinny-fat 52 year old. Zuck, 39, is in good shape and appears to have been practicing sparring for a while. Differences in height and weight begin to tell when you have two rivals who know what they're doing and are in shape. But with things as they stand it's a mismatch in Zuck's favor.
