Soft Machine - Volume Two
Hatfield and the North - The Rotters' Club

"stressed" is just "desserts" spelled backwards

One more thing I wanted to bring up: I was supposed to take suggestions for albums to nominate for further Wild Card lists, given that 3 out of the 4 lists have yet to be filled out with albums, but I never got around to it, before now that is. So if you would like to nominate any albums that are not found on any other lists, past, present or future, please feel free to do so. You can nominate multiple albums but try to keep it to a maximum of 3 for now. We're still trying to limit ourselves to the "rock" umbrella generally speaking, but if something you want to nominate is at least adjacent to that, we can probably bend the rules a little bit.

Here is the next Wild Card list with the albums that have been nominated thus far:
Wild Card #2 (incomplete)
1. The Beatles - Revolver
2. George Harrison - All Things Must Pass
3. The Rolling Stones - Sticky Fingers
4. The Chameleons - Script of the Bridge
5. David Bowie - Station to Station
6. Rush - Moving Pictures
7. -
8. -
9. -
10. -

Albums number 1-3 are ones that I discussed adding with rubber soul on MB way back when. 4 and 5 are my own nominees, whereas number 6, as you might have glimpsed from page 1, is actually featured on one of the future lists, bringing me to my next suggestion:

In an effort to try and reduce the sheer volume of albums we have yet to get to I'm suggesting we merge two of the lists, namely "80's Arena Rock" and "Arena-Oriented Rock". Seeing as there's so much overlap, even down to many of the literal same bands being featured, it just makes it seem redundant to keep both* which is why I have taken the liberty of pruning it down to a single list like so:
Spoiler
QuoteAOR

1. Def Leppard - Hysteria
2. Journey - Escape
3. Toto - Toto IV
4. Styx - The Grand Illusion
5. Billy Squier - Don't Say No
6. Foreigner - 4
7. Bon Jovi - Slippery When Wet
8. REO Speedwagon - Hi Infidelity
9. Whitesnake - Whitesnake
10. Survivor - Vital Signs

The only downside I can see here is that Rush's Moving Pictures (from the 80's Arena Rock list) is no AOR album by any stretch of the imagination, and so it won't fit in with these other albums, which is why I have instead opted to move it to the next Wild Card list. Anyways, it's just a suggestion, so let me know what you think, and then I'll make it official if none of you have a problem with this change to the roster. The invitation to nominate albums for Wild Card spots stands in any event.

That is all for now!  :)

*edit: To make matters worse there is even a "70's Arena Rock" list among the finished battle, so case in point I guess

Oh, and if no one had any issue with the merging of those two genre battles I mentioned earlier, I'll make the roster change official within a few days :)

I vote hardcore.

And yeah those changes seem good to me.

"stressed" is just "desserts" spelled backwards

Steve Hillage - Fish Rising
Hatfield and the North - The Rotters' Club

I'm down for Hardcore as well.

I was this cool the whole time.

Hatfield and the North is out, decisively so.

Can we add Music for the Masses by Depeche Mode to the WildCard list. I don't know if that album has been in any other lists to date. You'd have to let me know GD.
