Quote from: Mrs. Waffles on Nov 20, 2023, 09:20 PMThank you so much, I really appreciate your kindness.

You're not wrong, I got into drugs in an era when I thought I was coming out of my deep early 20s depression and living it up, but those nights of amphetamine-fueled clubbing were just as lonely and unfulfilling. I became consumed by overindulgence and fleeting fake happiness, at the expense of actual meaning in my life.

It's been a long and heavy road. Thank you again, I really treasure your friendship. <3

Thanks so much, Mrs. Waffles - your friendship means a lot to me too. ❤️

I am *radiating* to you at this very moment.

Quote from: ribbons on Nov 20, 2023, 05:36 PMBtw, I haven't had sufficient time to sit back and do the foot mask - but I have this in reserve.   :)   Maybe after the holiday I'll be able to indulge.
@DJChameleon, I've been using the O'Keefe's and it's very effective on the calluses!  A little goes a long way, so the 3.2 oz jar will probably last forever lol.

I would love to try that foot mask you bought and yeah O Keefe's is mint. Love that company.

Quote from: ribbons on Nov 20, 2023, 07:13 PM^ I used to use those, but the floss would get stuck between my teeth - literally to the point where it couldn't be dislodged (and the stick would be left hanging).  The only place I could floss with string was in between my front teeth, because I have a gap there.  ???   That's why I use the flexible bristle picks.

Does anyone use mouthwash?  I use the Listerine Cool Mint blue one, which feels milder than other mouthwashes.

PS:  And for toothpaste, I've been using Colgate Max Fresh Whitening - which is surprisingly good, I find - except that it the paste really clings to the sink and it's hard to clean out.

I use this listerine that is good for gum health because during my most recent dental cleanings I found out my gums were a bit on the unhealthy side and becoming super sensitive. So I know use gum related products. I also use sensodyne toothpaste to help get my gums to become healthy again. I had a cleaning like two days ago and I got compliments about how they are improving and my mouth wasn't as much of a bloody mess as it used to be after cleanings.

I was this cool the whole time.

^ Glad your gum health is improving @DJChameleon  :)

I have an appointment for a dental cleaning and polishing two weeks from now.  I love the buffing/polishing procedure with the slow speed drill with the soft tip.  It feels so good and relaxing and I always want to fall asleep while it's being done!

I got some of that pears soap I have seen forumistas be very complimentary about. It was cheap and I ran out of the soap I normally use.

I also am going to decrustify my feet soon. I may document it on here for those who might want to see.

Only God knows.

Quote from: grindy on Aug 31, 2023, 01:39 PMI usually shower after taking a dump even if it does sometimes lead to multiple showers a day. Anyone else doing that? I can go without it but it feels unpleasant. I also prefer to rinse my dick under the tap after taking a piss, so there's also that.

Yeah I have to do that.  Was born with a tail but they took the tail and left the fistula, which has complicated my life so much.  When bidet attachments became cheap (e.g. $35) I was beside myself with happiness.  When I must use loo paper it's a few passes and then must shower, because it could be 20 passes and I'd never get clean because of that goddamn fistula.

Update on the soap.

I like it. I even used it post shave on my bald head and normally anything I use would sting. Not this time. This is very gentle soap and I feel so clean I could eat my dinner out of my arsehole.

Thanks guys.

Only God knows.

I smell hella good  8)

Funny you posted this. I saw a video recently that Old Spice reeks havoc on a woman's PH balance. Discontinue immediately unless you prefer smelling good and being lonely.

I was this cool the whole time.

I didn't want to create a new thread just to ask this question but ladies or just in general anyone that has dyed their hair.

Is it better to dye your hair then cut it or cut it then dye your hair?

Idk if it would be different for men or not but curious.

If I'm gonna be bleaching, then I definitely dye it first. That way if the bleach does any damage to the hair during the dyeing process, that damage can be assessed and more easily handled when the cut is happening. It's been about a decade since I dyed without bleaching so I'm not sure on that.

"stressed" is just "desserts" spelled backwards

For you, dye it then get it cut.

I've done it but it was years ago.

Almost certain that you are close to the skin when you have a haircut so seeing as there is next to nothing there just dye it first then have your usual haircut.

Only God knows.

I'm gonna post a recent pic soon to show you but for the winter. I grew out my hair and I'm currently rocking a flat top witg close to skin on the sides.

correct me if I'm doing or saying wrong but I recently discontinued using deodorant altogether.  I started doing this after both taking into account that the active ingredient in my deodorant was aluminum (a metal going into ur body hmm) and the fact that the deodorant companies literally had to once persuade the general public that body odor was undesirable and that we needed deodorant.  idk if I've got all the facts right but I haven't gotten any complaints or funny looks yet so idk.  I shower every other day cause it'll dry the fuck out of your skin to do so daily or even multiple times a day like some do.
